Printing GST-Compliant Invoices Using the India Invoice PDF/HTML Template
The India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp offers an advanced India Invoice PDF/HTML template, designed to help businesses print invoices that meet India’s GST requirements. This template ensures all necessary GST and E-Way Bill details are included on your printed invoices.
Key GST Details Included on Printed Invoices
When you use the India Invoice PDF/HTML template, your invoices will display:

Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) for both the subsidiary and customer.

Line-level GST tax details such as HSN or SAC code, tax code, tax rate, and tax amount.

E-Way Bill details such as E-Way Bill Number (EBN) and E-Way Bill Date.
Prerequisites of Printing GST Details on Transactions
Before you can print GST-compliant invoices, ensure the folllowing:

Enable the Advanced PDF/HTML Templates feature. To enable a feature, go to Setup > Company > Enable Features.

Use custom transaction forms with the SuiteTax advanced print templates. For more information, see Advanced PDF/HTML Templates.

Ensure you have at least Edit permission for the transactions you want to print.
Setting Up the India Invoice PDF/HTML Template
The India Invoice PDF/HTML template is set as the preferred template on invoice forms included with the SuiteApp. To print GST tax details on your custom invoice forms, ensure you pick this template.
To set up the India invoice PDF/HTML template:

Go to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms.

Click the Customize link for the standard invoice form. To set up the template on a custom invoice form, click Edit beside the custom form.

Choose Advanced as the printing type.

In the Print Template and Email Template fields, select India Invoice PDF/HTML Template.

Check the Form is Preferred box.

Click Save.
