Sending Customized Notifications
The India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp lets you send automated, customized email notifications. These notifications are triggered by key activities related to GST tax rate rules and Letter of Undertaking (LUT) bond and details.
This feature helps ensure that relevant employees are informed about important changes or actions involving GST tax rules and LUT bond and details.
With the Customized Notification feature, you can:

Send customized notifications for specific actions–

When you create, edit, or delete a GST tax rate rule.

When you create, edit, or delete LUT bond and details.

When you create, edit, or delete transactions that use GST tax rate rules or LUT bond and details.

Define multiple notification scenarios –
You can set up different scenarios based on unique combinations of record types, fields, operations, and values. For example, you might want to notify your tax team only when a GST tax rate rule is deleted.

Customize the email content and recipients –
For each scenario, you can specify the email message and choose who should receive the notification.
Following is a brief overview of how the feature works.

Enable the Customized Notification feature –
Go to the Configuration page and check the Customized Notification box to activate this functionality. For information, see Enabling the Customized Notification Feature.

Create notification scenarios –
Define a scenario by selecting from predefined criteria such as record type, field, operation (such as create, edit, delete), and value.
You can add multiple criteria to refine when notifications are triggered. For information, see Creating Notification Scenarios.

Assign scenarios to features –
Link each scenario to a specific localization feature (GST tax rate rules or LUT bond and details).

Set email content and recipients –
For every scenario, customize the email message and specify the recipients.

Automatic notification –
When the defined scenario occurs, the SuiteApp automatically sends the customized email to the designated recipients.
