Employee Access in WFM
As part of configuring employee management for Workforce Management, you can use the employee details page to control an employee's access, change their username, and set what group they are in.
From the Workforce Management tab, go to Setup > Employees > List. Click the ID number of the employee you want to configure. Click the Details tab. Click Edit to change these settings.
To confirm changes, click Save or Save and Close.
You can also able to update the SuitePeople Time Clock PIN on this page. To have WFM set a new available PIN for the employee, click Edit. Click Generate PIN, and then click Save PIN.
Sending Employee Login Details
To send employees an email with their username and a link to reset their password, click the email icon in the blue bar. WFM sends an email to the address associated with this employee.
WFM Access Groups
WFM access groups are independent from NetSuite roles.
The available access groups depend on the date when your WFM account was provisioned. Accounts provisioned after November 17, 2023, have access to renamed and additional access groups that allow for flexibility when assigned to employees.
If your usage requires the use of a specific access group currently not available in your account, contact NetSuite customer support.
To use the permissions and reports provided to an access group, an employee should access WFM by using the NetSuite Employee Center then going to the Workforce Management tab.
The following tables identify the access groups available to employees based on when their accounts were provisioned.
