Due to rounding limitations in Legacy Tax, some tax scenarios result in a mismatch between storefront values and NetSuite values. To avoid discrepancies, the leading practice is to use NetSuite Connector with SuiteTax.
When using Legacy Tax, NetSuite enforces a 2-decimal precision on tax rates and amounts. This can lead to issues where exact line-level tax parity with storefronts isn't always be achieved. Issues with tax differences are more likely when discounts, mixed rounding, or complex item combinations are involved.
