Weekend and Federal Holiday Restrictions
To ensure automated bill payments are processed correctly, the system validates payments against weekends and federal holidays. NetSuite doesn’t allow scheduling bill payments for these dates. To view a list of federal holidays, see Federal Reserve Board Holidays Observed
The following lists example scenarios where payment date restrictions apply:
-
PSV Bill Payments – If the Date indicated in a Pay Single Vendor (PSV) bill payment is a weekend or federal holiday, you won’t be able to create the bill payment.
-
Payment Runs – If the Payment Creation Date selected for a payment run falls on a weekend or federal holiday, you won’t be able to create the payment run.
-
Payment Submission Cut-off Times – Submit payments to BILL before 6 p.m. Pacific Time (UTC – 8) to ensure processing on the same business day.
If you submit payments after 6 p.m. Pacific Time (UTC – 8), BILL will process them on the next available business day. A business day is any day except Saturday, Sunday, or a US federal holiday observed by Federal Reserve Banks.
