Windcave Payment Gateway
NSPOS 2025.1.0 introduces a new payment gateway, Windcave, that is now available in all regions where POS is supported. This addition gives our customers greater flexibility by offering more options for processing credit card transactions. You can choose the gateway that works best for your business.

Windcave will work for both NSPOS and Kiosk applications. It adds another layer of user interaction. You can control the actions on the payment terminal and directly in NSPOS or in Kiosk. You can see the signature confirmation page on NSPOS in offline mode in the image below.
You will be prompted to swipe your card on Kiosk. You also have the option of canceling the action.
The RA-Workstation record needs to be configured in NetSuite ERP to use Windcave. To learn how to configure RA-Workstation, see Add an RA-Workstation Record in NetSuite.
To configure Windcave in NetSuite ERP

Log in to NetSuite as an administrator.

Go to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Record Types.

Locate the RA-Workstation row and click List.

Click Edit for the first workstation you want to update.

For Payment Provider, select Windcave Payment Provider. No further setup is required on this record.

Click Save.

Repeat for the next workstation you want to update.
When using Windcave in a region with required French receipts, you need to contact customer support for receipt adjustments.
When recovering from unexpected events occurred during signature phase of payment, you can experience terminal to be stuck with signature message. The payment is however processed correctly and you can proceed with another payment (known Windcave issue).
