Defining Group Synonyms
Group synonyms treat a set of terms as interchangeable, ensuring that a search for any one term in the group returns results for all its synonyms.
To define a group synonym:

Go to Commerce > Marketing > Search > Group Synonyms.

On the Group Synonyms page, click New Group Synonym.

On the Group Synonym page, enter a comma-separated list of synonyms in the Synonyms box.
Note:For example, you can enter handbag, purse, shoulder bag in the Synonyms box.

If you use multiple websites, select the site where you want this group synonym to apply.

If your site uses multiple languages, select the language for this group synonym.

(Optional) To disable the group synonym, check the Inactive box.

(Optional) To add more group synonyms, click Save & New and repeat steps 3–7.

Click Save.
When you click Save, your search index automatically rebuilds to include these changes. When the search index is rebuilt successfully, you’ll see Synonyms Updated under Job Name on the Search Index Job Status page.
